Position Summary
Ontario Health is seeking expressions of interest for the position of Clinical Lead, Survivorship. This is a unique opportunity to provide strategic leadership to the evolution of the Ontario cancer system. This opportunity is open to all qualified candidates.

Accountabilities
The key responsibilities of this role are to:
- Provide visionary leadership for the planning, delivery and evaluation of services for cancer survivors
- Advance survivorship-related program operations, strategic obectives and deliverables
- Provide important guidance, expertise and leadership to a broad swath of stakeholders including regional oncology programs, clinical leaders and program staff
- Work to improve patient and provider experience through the achievement of Survivorship Program goals and objectives
- Maintain partnerships with Primary Care Providers to improve transitions in care
- Participate in the ongoing measurement and evaluation of the impact of survivorship care on the heathcare system
Qualifications
- MD, FRCPC/SC in oncology
- Licensed to practice in Ontario
- Clinical leadership experience within health care and/or academic institutions
- Knowledge of clinical, administrative and system issues with respect to cancer services
- Strong professional presence and ability to present to large and small audiences in a concise, articulate and dynamic fashion
- Enthusiasm for, and commitment to, quality improvement in cancer care at the system level
- In depth knowledge of the challenges faced by cancer survivors, their care providers across sectors, and at the broader system level in Ontario
