The purpose of this dataset is to securely store data that identifies individuals in Ontario who have been diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
- Need for Personal Health Information (PHI)

PHI is required to identify and exclude IBD patients from the colonoscopy cohorts to improve the accuracy of the information used to support quality management for the Colon Cancer Check (CCC) and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Quality Based Procedure programs.
