The purpose of this dataset is to securely store performance metrics based on the smoking status of ambulatory cancer patients collected at the 14 regional cancer centers (RCCs).

The PHI is used to produce smoking cessation performance indicators for multiple reports and scorecards, such as 'Tobacco Use Screening' and 'Accepted a Cessation Referral' for the Regional Performance Scorecard.
