Prequalification of Home Care Service Providers

Ontario Health administers an annual prequalification process to support the procurement of home care services across the province.

Prequalification is an annual process that identifies potential vendors eligible to provide publicly funded home care services. Once prequalified, service providers can bid on home health care service procurements in Ontario.

The prequalification process aligns with the Ontario Public Service Procurement Directive to ensure openness, fairness and transparency.

Apply for Future Prequalification

If you wish to apply for future prequalification processes, please register with the Ontario Tenders Portal. During registration, you can choose to receive notifications about procurement opportunities including prequalification.

The prequalification process launches when the prequalification documents are posted on the Ontario Tenders Portal. Once you have been notified of the launch, visit the portal to find the application materials and instructions.

Applications will be evaluated after the submission deadline. Successful applicants will be eligible to bid on future procurements for publicly funded home care services.

If you have questions about the prequalification process, please email prequalification@ontariohealth.ca.
