West Region Indigenous Health Strategy
The West Region Indigenous Health Strategy serves as a roadmap for the next three to five years by bringing together priorities identified by Indigenous communities across the region and aligning them with current provincial priorities and directions.

This strategy will help guide the work of the Ontario Health West region team and health service providers working within the region. The strategy reflects Ontario Health’s commitment to advancing Indigenous health. It was shaped through extensive engagement with cultural practitioners, health service providers, frontline providers and those with lived experience from across the West region.
The strategy is rooted in an Indigenous understanding of wellness and wellbeing, reflecting a wholistic approach to advancing Indigenous health across the West region.
