We engage doctors, nurses and other clinical care providers in our work to improve the care of patients province-wide. Their contributions are essential to our success.
Depending on the type of leadership or advisory role they take on, these clinicians may help:
- shape our strategy
- establish best practices
- design and implement system improvements
- translate knowledge into practice
- measure and evaluate programs, clinical practices and performance
Every year, hundreds of clinicians from across Ontario participate on our committees, in case reviews, and in formal leadership positions. By taking on part-time or occasional positions at Ontario Health, clinicians can help improve the healthcare system, while continuing to care for patients as their primary role.
Using a common framework for clinician engagement across the organization, our goal is to provide the best possible experience for both the clinician and the organization.
